Miraflores is a modern beachside suburb of Lima, Peru featuring amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, great surf, fabulous places to stay, wonderful restaurants, interesting markets and the intriguing ruins of Huaca Pucllana. We recommend staying in an apartment in Miraflores whenever you are visiting Lima.
The Miraflores ‘malecón’ or boardwalk is possibly the most emblematic attraction in Miraflores. This six mile stretch of board walk starts with Malecón de la Marina in the north, then becomes Malecón Cisneros, and ends as Malecón de la Reserva in the south. This stunning cliff-top walk offers fabulous views of the Pacific Coast and is a great place for people watching.
You can experience the Pacific Ocean from the air hanging out on a Paraglider or catching a wave or two in the Pacific Ocean. In fact Peru has a number of great locations for surfing.
In central Miraflores you can enjoy an amazing range of restaurants and food experiences, in particular the top restaurant in South America and No 5 globally Central. Kennedy Park come alive in the evening with markets and food stalls and plenty of locals out enjoying Lima's amazing climate.
